in a World
turned Upside-Down
Compared to the Bible, we live in an upside down world, but some people think that compared to the world, the Bible is upside down.
The Bible is God's way.
Jesus' life,
everything He said, all He represented was verified!
No other religious leader has ever been verified by God,
except Jesus.
Not Buddha, Not Mohammad, no one,
except Jesus!
In God raising Jesus from the dead,
God verified all things written
in the life and teachings of Jesus!
There is not one iota,
not one bit, shred, or scrap of evidence
not one bit, shred, or scrap of evidence
contrary to the Scriptural Truth and Testimony
of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Christianity is the only faith delivered through Grace
based on the Redemptive Salvation
of God's Love for mankind,
of God's Love for mankind,
and verified by a Risen Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ.
"Jesus is Alive!"
"Jesus is Alive!"
If one is concerned about eternity, read the Gospels!
In reading the Gospels, you have to make a decision.
Truly a decision not of a life time,
but a decision for eternity, you best make it count.
When reading the Gospels, one finds many things contrary to what the world want us to believe.
Either Jesus had it backwards or
most of the people in the world live life backwards.
The World Says (TWS): Do your own thing your way.
Jesus Christ Says (JCS):
"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". John 14:6 NIV
-------------------------------
TWS: The courts must keep track of those who most break our laws and put in jail habitual offenders.
Jesus Christ Says:
Jesus Christ Says:
Judging Others
Luke 6:37-42pp -- Mt 7:1-5
37"Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven".--------------------------
Jesus truly turned the world upside down,
and the world is still learning.
Where the Jewish heritage taught
sacrifice an animal and your sins are forgiven,
an eye for an eye,
and forgive seven times,
Jesus said,
"Forgive your neighbor and I will forgive you."
This was blasphemous to the Jews as only God can forgive.
Where the Jews held sacred "the Law"
as a check list to righteousness,
Jesus taught righteousness
came only through Him.
Where the Jewish leaders taught,
"The Law is the way"
Jesus said,
"I fulfill the law, I am the way..."
Where the Jews would not eat unclean food,
Jesus taught
only what came from the mouth was unclean.
The Jewish world, it was filled with hate,
The Jews hated the Romans, the Samaritan Jews,
and most everything else not Jewish based,
Jesus simply taught "love your neighbor".
Where the Jews, held only their
traditions of the "old way" were true,
Jesus taught He IS The Truth and the only way.
Where the Jews believed behavior was paramount
to a Godly life,
Jesus taught
through faith in He alone
is the way, the path of The Godly life.
Where the Jews lived and worshiped
in their 2500 years of tradition,
Jesus taught He was fulfillment
of all their years of tradition Jewish.
Where the Jews held that God's Spirit came only
to one Chosen of them for a period of time,
Jesus forever delivers the Holy Spirit
to all Choosing Him and His continuing Saving Grace.
Where in the world for many, many Jews included,
It was believed in Death we have our end,
But, The Truth in Jesus,
Brings New Life, and more,
Death is no longer a hopeless end
but only the beginning of new life Eternal.
Where the world taught
The sick and lame were unholy,
Jesus taught,
Holiness was humility before the Lord God.
Where the world taught
Riches showed God's Favor,
Jesus taught Loving
Riches to be a stumbling block
In your path to God's Kingdom.
Where the world taught
Only strength allowed kingdoms to conquer,
Jesus taught,
Faith in Him was entrance to The Kingdom.
Where the world teaches
In all of your living
Stand up for yourself,
Let no one take advantage of you,
Take everything you can get,
Keep everything you have, and
Protect all that is yours,
Jesus teaches meekness and sharing.
Where the world teaches
Meekness and patience is weakness,
Jesus teaches
Greatness is found in our humility before God,
Confessing Jesus is Lord, and
In Submission,
Jesus takes your weaknesses and
makes them your strengths.
Where the world teaches
the lowly has but a helpless life
Jesus teaches
the lost and last of society
will be first and greatest in His Kingdom.
When the world believes
There is no God and Death is the end,
Jesus teaches
Righteousness is Life in Him
and Living daily through Him
brings the Righteous temporal life
of a life everlasting.
Contrary to the world,
Life is not hopeless,
In Jesus
Our hope for Life is His Saving Grace.
Contrary to the World
Life is not about what "I" can do,
but through Jesus,
Life is what God does through me.
Contrary to the world
It is not I who determine "Who am I",
Rather,
In Jesus, We discover "To Whom We belong".
Contrary to the world
We wonder not,
Why am I here and where am I going
Rather,
In Jesus,
We know where we are,
where we are going, and
To what purpose we were born.
Contrary to the world,
and the world of its lies,
As written in the Gospels seventy-nine (79) times,
the most used phase we read on Jesus' lips is
"... I tell you the truth...".
But, Above all
Jesus is Lord because of
our Grace from God,
The unmerited love and undeserved gift from God.
The world leads us from God, His Grace, His promises,
But, God is unmoving.
From the fullness of His character,
And the totality of His nature,
In His fundamental, changeless, immutable Self
He Always Love us, Forgive us, and
Continues to Grace us
with His ever unending, ageless, and undeserved gifts.
In God's promise, His Grace
providing ALL that we have,
We plant His seed, He grows our fruit,
We build a new barn, He provides the wood,
We run from Him, He created our legs,
We think a thought, He provided the brain,
We invent something anew,
He supplied the materials,
We discover in our time, he created it before us,
We see vastness in His night sky,
He provides eyes to see the unseen.
In ALL We have
In ALL we absorb,
In All we give up
God provides it All.
Like it or not,
We receive everyday God's Grace, and
He gives us the abilities to receive it;
And, we can do nothing to earn it,
AND!.... that is the only way He wants it!
We sin, But, in His grace
He always forgives WHEN
We say I believe,
We forgive our brothers, then
In His forgiveness, He forgets,
and
In His forgetting, and by His Son,
we are GRACED with Salvation.
Actively accepting, receiving, and acknowledging
our heartfelt fullness of God's Grace - His Son,
a gift that distinguishes the Christian faith
from all other religions and cults in the world,
faith then comes bringing
a revolution to our Upside-Down world
leading us to Live Righteous UpRight Lives
as expressed and defined
through the Teachings, the Truth,
in the life of Jesus the Christ.
1 Timothy 4:4
Thanks be to God.
